It is with great pleasure that I provide this message to members of the University of Wollongong 's Thailand Alumni Chapter.

The University has a close and highly valued relationship with Thailand .

We are extremely honoured to have the King of Thailand , His Majesty Bhumibol Adulyadej and Professor Dr HRH Princess Chulabhorn Mahidol as Honorary Doctors of our University.

Wollongong continues to attract more Thai students than any other Australian university –something that we are also very proud of.

We are delighted that our Thai Alumni Chapter has so many enthusiastic and committed members, who are determined to maintain links with their University, as well as with each other.

We feel very strongly that the relationship between a graduate and his or her University should be a life-long connection. International Alumni Chapters play an important role in keeping that connection strong.

I commend UOW's Thai Alumni Chapter for your efforts, and wish you all the best for another successful year.
